Karate Tas History and Info

Karate Tas is the Tasmanian branch of the Ceberano Martial Arts Academy.

Founded by the martial arts legend, Tino Ceberano who is known as the father of martial arts in Australia, the Ceberano Martial Arts Academy is one of the most respected Karate schools not only in Australia, but the world. Tino Ceberano is an 8th Dan Black Belt and he studied under the legendary Gogen Yamaguchi, Grand Master of Goju Karate as appointed by the founder of Goju Karate, Chojun Miyagi.

Ceberano Martial Arts Academy is now run by our Shihan (Master), Paul Ceberano, who is the eldest son of Tino Ceberano. Karate is Pauls life and passion. He has been studying karate since he was 5 years old and has been instructing for over 20 years. Ceberano KYOSHI, and has been teaching for over 35 years.
